How to Play

6-word chain. You see the first and last. Each consecutive pair forms a compound word. Fill in the 4 middle words.

One puzzle/day, same for everyone. 2 guesses, 1 hint. Mon/Tue = Easy, Wed/Thu/Sun = Medium, Fri/Sat = Hard.

Endless puzzles. 3 guesses, 2 hints (5 for Pro). Watch ad or use Pro perk for +1 extra guess.

Race: Real-time head-to-head, same puzzle, live progress.

Challenge: 6-digit code, share with a friend, compare scores.

Pass & Play: Two players, one device, take turns. Offline.

The app crashed or froze

Force quit and reopen. Progress saves automatically. If it persists, reinstall (resets local stats).

My streak disappeared

Streaks count consecutive daily wins only. Miss a day = reset. Unlimited games don't count toward streaks.

A word seems wrong

Each puzzle has one solution using established compound words. If you think there's an error, contact us with the puzzle number.

How do I restore Pro?

Settings → Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID.

How do I cancel Pro?

iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Chainlink Pro → Cancel.

How do themes work?

8 themes total. Dark and Light are free. 5 require Pro. Diamond Chain is free for anyone who earns all 50 badges.

What are badges?

50 achievements across 5 tiers. Every 10 badges unlocks a tier reward (share cards, titles, celebrations, frames, Diamond theme).

My username was rejected

The profanity filter blocks inappropriate names including creative workarounds. If yours was blocked incorrectly, contact us.

How does Race multiplayer work?

Both players solve the same puzzle simultaneously with live progress bars. First to finish wins. Requires internet.
